Kayla Ring

Kayla Ring

$34.00Price

Top is pierced out from a sheet of sterling silver using a very thin blade about the thinness of a sheet of paper.  It is then texturized with a long but thin piece of steel (that I also made several years ago) as well as a tool called a planishing hammer.  I then use a peice of 18k gold fill sqaure wire for the band and solder to the under side of the top using a torch.  Solder is a tiny peice of lower melting metal that essentially "fuses" the items together.  Solder will melt at about 1400 degrees fahrenheit.  The ring is then cleaned and forged then polished.  After the polishing stage I then oxidize the top to add some depth to the top.

"How do I know or measure my ring size my ring size?"  Please refer to the chart and under my FAQS page for a more detailed understanding.

The Kayla ring is named after one of the most patient and understanding people I know.
